AP 3D Studio
Grades 10-12
Course length: full year Instructor: Mr. Clagett 303-982-5069 [email protected] This year-long course is for the student who is seriously pursuing a career in the visual arts and/or desires to continue studying visual art in college. Interested students must be successful in at least an intermediate level of a particular media (Ceramics, Jewelry) and get instructor approval before registering. It is recommended that several different art media courses be taken before applying for AP level. The AP College Board governing body has specific requirements for submitting a Visual Art Portfolio near the end of the year. AP weighted grades are earned for Producing high quality artworks, demonstrating a variety of skills/approaches to artmaking, and being able to develop artworks within a concentration. The Ceramics/Jewelry/Sculpture room will be kept open and running from 2:30-4 pm Tuesdays for any student, parent, or staff member who wants to be creative and make stuff.
